Ok, so the Trump Presidency is bringing the undoing of virtually everything we hold dear, and there is indication that the Russians are using the internet to undermine our and European Democracies. But hey, other fun things are happening too...

Oy. So now that Donald Trump has been elected, the countdown begins: when can we get this man out of the White House?????

Birds Birds Birds

Salvador Dali began a new genre in art, especially sculpture, by combining a telephone with a lobster. The sculpture was painted white and the combination of two disparate entities became all the rage.  I am working in this tradition in my illustrations of birds who are combined with things which belong elsewhere, such as the kitchen. 

The Trump Election: Laugh so you don't cry...

From primary season all the way to the election, the opportunities for humor abounded.  Collected here are my impressions of the Trump election, one of the more absurd developments of my life.

Election night was so upsetting we could barely sleep that night. In the days leading up to the election, it seemed like Hillary would win. As the evening progressed, however, it was clear Trump would win. I thought that Trump was a fraud in every way and I did not foresee that many Republicans either didn't see what I saw, or didn't care.

It was all rather depressing.
